I love heather on a golf course (see Queenwood), and it grows here in abundance. Built in 1932, this resort course has hosted numerous championships, including European PGA Tour stops.

Despite its far northern locale the weather can be quite temperate year round, though stiff winds off the Baltic can play havoc with golf shots.
